Mary Peterson, of Sandcastle Jewels lives & works near Fort
Worth, Texas. She specializes in jewelry made with lampwork,
Sterling Silver and gemstones. She started out creating pieces
for herself, as gifts, and then for orders from co-workers, and
was able to pursue jewelry design full time in 2006. She
says" Prior to that time I was aware of art glass but really
didn't know there were so many different types or so many
incredible glass artisans...I have torch envy. But I recognize
my own limitations.
Mary frequently writes the
Artbead Divine Jewelry Market Blog and has written posts about
Boro, Raku and plunged floral beads.

Marilyn Peraza

Marilyn Peraza, has
been making jewelry since a child. Just over 10 years ago,
she picked up a mandrel, lit up a torch, and made her first
lampwork bead. She has never looked back, and in March
2004, she went full-time with her glass art beads and designer
jewelry (Peraza Beads & Jewelry "PB&J").
Marilyn is also an instructor, and is planning to open her own
lampwork teaching studio in 2010. She also teaches the art
of micro macrame, silk ribbon embroidery, and wire wrapping.
Marilyn is a member
of The International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB),
Self-Representing Artist, Self-Representing Jewelry Designer,
and is the founder of The Annealer Magazine.

Sharon Palac

Sharon Palac is an English
literature teacher and jewelry designer. Her passion
is creating sterling silver jewelry combined with beautiful
lampwork beads inspired most by her natural surroundings, art,
and literature. She has been creating wearable art
for over a year, has studied lampworking, PMC, glass fusing and
pottery.
Sharon has written blog articles for ADJ featuring jewelry
designers and lampworking.
