Can I get your opinions on this please??

Keep in mind that these are my "test" toggles...   I was just playing around with them and certainly need to improve the design.  What I would like to know is if you think I should pursue them or not...

Can you tell what the first one is supposed to be?  That's really important.  I am going to study the subject a little today before I try to remake it, so hopefully it will be more clear as to what it is supposed to be.  Also keep in mind that the first one is still on the mandrel for a reason - it's stuck!!!  ... and I chipped the bead trying to get it off the mandrel.  So these are not even cleaned yet!

The 2nd one I know you will know what it is - just want to know if you like it and think I should create more of them.   I still have to practice on these guys though as I've only made about 3 of them since I've been making beads.

Okay - here they are:

and here's the 2nd one:

sitting on the round part of the toggle:

sitting on the end of the bar portion of the toggle (there's one on each end):

Thanks for looking and taking the time to let me know what you think.

Marilyn

PS - In case you couldn't tell... the first one is supposed to be an elephant.

Re: Can I get your opinions on this please??

Thanks Kathy - yep first one was supposed to be an elephant - but even I realized that I didn't have enough detail there for it to be recognizable at first glance.   I have made another toggle and a focal bead, but this time with tusks and larger ears - so we'll see how they turn out.    I also put different decorations on them.   I'll post them tomorrow.

It is a big hole hollow and it it is messy bordello... but I guess I broke the inside when I cleaned it.

I love them! the elephant is a bit hard to see, I think it blends into the background color a bit. I love the frogs!! OMG!! They are so tiny!

I love these, I think they are so fresh and new! That one has a better contrast. Did you do anymore frogs? Are they in the annealer auctions yet?

Re: Can I get your opinions on this please??

Thanks Nicole - this one actually has tusks - I think that made the difference!  Elephants are supposed to have tusks!!!! lol  They were very hard to do, so I don't know how many of those I will utlimately make.

The frogs... I haven't posted the toggle yet and I'm not sure when/if I will.  Although I know it will hold up nicely when used in a necklace, I need to test it to make sure it will hold up if used in a bracelet.   Don't want any returns due to breakage!!!

I do have a cute little green frog on a bead in the Auction Boutique.   Here's a pic:

The frog is no bigger than my pinky nail - actually he's smaller - and I don't have long nails either!

Okay - I'm off to the torch today...  first time in about a week!

thanks!
