Re: July beads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very pretty beads Kathy.

I actually made some beads yesterday, but they are not cleaned yet.  It's been a while since I sat at my torch to make beads!   I'll try to take a couple pictures tomorrow  morning and post them.

Re: July beads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nicker - I love your goddesses!   They are beautiful!

I actually made a couple beads before I went out of town this past week.   I'm starting a new style of my victorian beads...    a completely different way of doing the scroll work that I personally think are more "Victorian" than before.  In fact, I got the look from a piece of clothing that is very victorian in style.  "Right up my alley!"

Anyway, here are the first ones - these are still considered experimental beads as I haven't had time to really sit down and perfect them yet.

This next one reminds me of some of Lydia's beads (Ashton Jewels) - which, by the way, I adore!   I wasn't trying to copy, and this one actually has some of the new style scroll work on it, but it's clear and hard to see.

That's about all I have made in the past few weeks.  I'm hoping to get back on the torch this week - we'll see.

Thanks for looking!

When my dad asked my why I was quitting my Engineering job and moving to Corvallis Montana to be a bead maker, I told him “The way this world is going the next currency will be beads, and I want to be a bead maker ” A true story ~ Hee Hee
